That exercise was done solely with volume profile. The strategy involves waiting for the price to slip out of the value area, panic dropping far below it, and waiting for the smouldering rubble to cool before buying cheapies. Comparing the 1/3 month ones worked a lot better than just the 1 month one. I'm still figuring out when to sell (if ever) but paying attention to the nosedives out of the value area got me buying near the local lows (until the next one showed up LUL).
