Market will be closed to investigate the consequences of dozens of billions of dollars in non GME options getting triggered from hedgie liquidation. Biden steps in on Thursday and says that this all has to come to a stop. Everyone holding GME will be reimbursed with a $5 Dairy Queen coupon and the hedgefunds will be fined one million dollars and must sit for two weeks in time out for the malarkey they tried to pull.
People here and across the internet scream that it's bullshit, but the mainstream media channels like CNN and FOX both work together to spin it and tell the boomers that this was for our own good. The people who literally put their entire net worth into this end up homeless and CNBC comes on and says "I TOLD YOU RETAIL WOULD LOSE. ACCEPT YOUR LOSSES. THIS IS ONLY FAIR."
