This.

I love to build things. Humans do. All we ever did up until recently was build shelter and tend to farmland. The best I can do in my day job is design projects, come up with specs, and have the grunts do the work/implementation. It leaves me feeling slightly empty inside. In my side business (a multimedia company) I get to design projects, come up with specs, and implement/work everything out myself. Nothing beats the satisfaction of enjoying the fruits of your own labor after grinding it out for a few days or weeks on end.

The reason for why a lot of highly paid white collar workers in finance, sales, marketing, and other similar fields with a highly corporate feel have shitty, empty, and meaningless lives is because they aren't creating anything that's theirs. They're on the treadmill you're speaking of. See: >>16790814 and what his coworker does to cope. I've seen this play out time and time again.

>At old job as a salesman
>See co-worker who recently purchased a Porsche 911 turbo entering elevator
>Fucking sweet
>"Hey man. Hold the door!"
>Is quiet and looking a bit frantic while looking at his phone the entire way up to our floor
>Look over and see him fiddling with his phone and shitting bricks
>Bank of America and Chase accounts overdrawn
>Mfw I saved all my tendies and bought SPY and QQQ dips instead

My aunt worked at a magazine back in the day. Would spend hours oggling sexy 80's and 90's models in old issues growing up. Made me into the man I am today.

They have never released actual numbers for oil reserves and were rejected from IPO and/or listing on multiple first world exchanges. They are good at smoke a mirrors.

Forgive me for that gaff. The links you posted, which I then clicked, were to the NASDAQ website. Long day and it's only 2:00pm here.

It still gets the point across that making money is one thing and starry eyed visions of the future are another.

I went to school to study molecular biology so that I can then work in research or biotech/biopharma to find cures for diseases and ailments and do the noble thing. This, however, didn't align with the nagging feeling/voice inside my head that told me I needed to make a lot of money by any means necessary... so I dropped out of school and became an entrepreneur who also trades in the financial markets instead. Take my point of view for whatever it is worth.
