Hi frens, please help. I created a Getmonero.com full node GUI wallet in 2022 which provided me 24 seed words. I'm trying to recover the wallet now, but the seed words aren't working. It creates a new wallet with a different primary address, zero balance, no transaction history, and 25 seed words, the first 24 the same as my own but also a 25th word that's a repeat from the original list. The last two seed words from my original seed word list were already repeats however. Redditers in the link below claim the repeated word is a checksum, so I assume a missing checksum is not the issue here.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/k4xs3f/24_word_seed_missing_a_word_any_options_to_recover/

I tripled checked my seed word list for accuracy when I created the original wallet. I believe this is an error on Monero's end. What's the point of taking great care for seed words if they don't even work for the emergency they're designed for? So frustrating.

I believed it at first and I still think the virus is real but it can’t be as bad as they’re portraying it to be. I took a Lyft home with my gf and there was a plastic liquor store shield between us and the driver, all three wearing masks. It felt dystopian as fuck.

No, it's not. Just like it wasn't "bullish" when CME opened up futures on BTC.

Wrong. The "big players" all buy it through derivatives which is margin. They'll dump it as soon as it goes up enough to double their money. You need to stop listening to the bullshit you hear.

Reminder that U.S. firms are single-handedly responsible for over 60% of all pharmaceutical innovation throughout the world, and who knows how much when it comes to treatments

European countries receive practically free drugs by applying tariffs, threatening to break these US firms' IP, enforcing price controls and not investing dick into medical innovation (largely opting out of the market forcing U.S. firms pick up their slack) themselves.

European countries that happen to dominate the market on certain pre-existing life saving compounds like insulin (Novo Nordisk, Sanofi) turn around and charge US customers many times over what they charge their own.

European countries often fail to meet even half their budgetary commitment to NATO (2% of GDP), even as Russia and China begin to make power plays on the world stage.

European countries don't have an underclass of tens of millions of obese n-words clogging up hospitals (current obesity rate in US is something like 65%)

European countries often have a much higher population of medical practitioners, especially general practitioners, whereas in the US something like 80% of doctors are specialists

Despite all of this, European countries are taxed as if they were in a state of total war to pay for their benefits systems, with notable examples like Norway whom are so overtaxed their government could give each citizen nearly $200,000 USD but will never choose to do so.

Treating the populations of Europe or the role our respective countries play on the world stage as if they're symmetrical is completely short sighted and will prove be a disaster in due time (and I firmly believe it will be given the opportunity). The only reason the Europeans can laud their terrible, flawed system without embarrassment is because they're dunning-krugers ignorant of the geopolitical and social circumstances that's led to the U.S.' unenviable situation in the first place.

Americans are forced into debt, Europeans are born into it.

How do you guys do it?

I just switched from a worker in the field to a desk job at my company, and I just fucking hate it.

I feel more exhausted day after day than I ever did physically exerting myself, I hate waking up realizing I have to sit at a desk for 8 hours, and generally feel numb and bored out of my mind.

Does it ever change?
