I found that University/College sucked to be honest. I went to 2 different ones at 2 different times in my life and I found that most of the people there were immature cunts who formed social circles based on signalling.

In High School, people became friends with people they had a lot in common with. In University, people made friends with people who were either extroverted to the extreme or had some sort of weird quirk (Gay, Black, Veteran, etc.).

They also sort of shunned people that didn't agree with them. That happened quite a lot not only to myself but to others in University. I made some friendships here and there, but they weren't lasting. I still hang out with my HS friends. Don't worry OP, you didn't miss out.
