/biz/ards, please help a newfag out here. I've gotten my first steady part time job and checking account set up and I wanna start investing. I keep hearing of these "robo-advisors" that basically do the investing for you. How reliable can something like that possibly be? Is it a good option for somebody fresh out the gate with no feel for what they're doing yet?

Any other miscellaneous beginner advice is appreciated too, of course. Thanks.
