Quick question:

If a stock pays quarterly dividends of 5%, and i own 20, am i accumulating at least 1 share per quarter? Assuming that the dividend payout rate remains the same.

Not OP, but how do dividends work? If my stock says it earned about 1% quarterly, and i have 100 of these, would that earn me 1 stock per quarter, assuming that the dividend remains the same %?
