Whats the worst that could happen if someone had access to a QR code or barcode?

VERISCAN for pamp bars just verify the authenticity. The format of the serials are pretty predictable at this point - is somebody going to cast a similar bar, stamp it and print out my own code? That would be a lot of hassle for not much gain.

genuinely curious

Silver could hit 60-90USD an ounce within year or two. It is a good hedge against a bad economy, much like crypto.

Your not going to get rich quick hoarding silver however, but it will keep you mentally propped against a bad market. Personally I have some silver stacks to compliment my long stock positions. If markets are bad, silver goes up, if silver goes down then markets are up. You are supposed to diversify your wealth across multiple asset classes, not pile all in using every last dollar hoping to double your stack in a month. This is not crypto, this is a fundamental position based on real tangible value.

can somebody explain why there is 183 times more paper traded silver in the commodities market than actual physical silver?

If all the silver is bought physically, what happens to the COMEX markets? Other than completely ruin banks/funds shorting/speculating on silver at a 18300% short interest?

I bought 200oz of silver from my local bank, delivery is in 2 weeks. paid $30 an ounce but I like knowing they came from a bank with PAMP Suisse certification and stamping.

I dont think this is a SHTF scenario, but I think silver is undervalued and could go to $50-$100 an ounce. Given the state of the economy I feel pretty comfortable with my small stack.
