Corporations win. The whole push to get more people in was never about bettering the individual, but increasing the supply thereby depressing wages. In the 90s and 00s, engineers had the corporations by the balls. Realize that the employer-employee relationship is fundamentally antagonistic, and should be approached as such.

Here's the silver lining - the knowledge that you possess cannot be taken from you. You passed the retard filter by making it through the STEM courses. You can run a business. Easily. What you need to do is work for 5 years max in the corporate world. 1 year per company. Then quit, and compete against the company you feel is coasting off their excess, and not being run as efficiently as it could be. The people that run these things hire brains, but I can assure you that most do not have much smarts themselves. Or at the very least, they're no more or less smarter than you are.
