Yes but bankers who don't even know how2code are going to pump this shit to their clients in sell side reports to seem "trendy" and knowledgable of the "hottest" SPACs this year

Not to shit on SPACs entirely, for plenty of companies it's a good way to go public in avoiding the hassle of a traditional IPO with the high fees and roadshow and whatnot, but more often than not it's a company looking to go public without having to face a fuckload of scrutiny (e.g. NKLA). My guess is that SEC is going to crack down on them in '21 when everybody loses their gubmint gibs in the markets and start calling for blood, but who fucking knows
