What has been the biggest financial blunder in your whole entire life? What is something that looking back makes you cringe just how fucking retarded you were?

Here's my quick note on widely FOMO'd HPB (High performance blockchain) from the discussions group. Open to thoughts.

For a start-up that pitches itself as creating a public chain, they don’t disclose any details on this acceleration chip that basically enhances the data transfer and could have utility in blockchain as well as conventional data transfers, with an inactive git (latest commit - small edit 3 mo ago) . The only way this can work is, if they have an IP on the IC (Integrated circuit); and they’ll end up competing with the likes of Intel, NVIDIA and probably AWS itself. And there’s always going to be a better solution. Too much of a risk to venture in a domain already dominated by billion $ boys. Most of the crypto community doesn’t understand a product & end up hyping on fancy value propositions w/o actually assessing its viability. IMO, bleak chances of survival, except the fact that it's Chinese. In which case, possible acquisition by Alibaba, so that they can integrate it with their cloud solutions. On a R/R, this would be 4/10 for me.

Actually according to their FAQ:

"14. When will HORSE be traded in Exchanges?

Our team has already started working on this. It is in our best interest to make the HORSE tokens available soon in exchanges for those who are not able to participate in the crowdsale. There are a few options that we are working on. We will do what’s best for the project and the community supporting it."

But they don't state how much supply will be added to exchanges. Seems risky if total supply = $1,250,000 ($1,000,000 to ICO) but there is no information about how many tokens will hit exchanges.
