That's what I was thinking, unfortunately I'm stuck with initially using CAD. Although getting into crypto is confusing as well

since when is /biz/ made up of economically illiterate commies?
a hypothetical UBI of 1000 dollars per month would mean that low paid manufacturing or service jobs wont get worked anymore, until the salary is increased, which therefore increases costs of the products/ services, which therefore creates inflation.
the very same would happen with housing prices, they would just get inflated away, so that someone with a ubi wont be able to pay for basic rent.
soon the ubi wont have the originally suggested purchasing power anymore, leading to demands that it should be increased.
the cycle continues until the currency is devalued.
now, who lost after that happened? every long term bond holder, everyone with savings, basically everyone without assets which are resistant to inflation.
who won? everyone issuing debt in that certain currency, so namely the state, big companys, everyone with a shitton of leveraged assets.

fucking disgusting
