typically what i do
>look at stocks in my watchlist
>look for a very obvious reversal happening/about to happen either up or down
>buy a ~1 month expiry with a strike price at or near the keltner channel middle line from my charts
>hold for a couple days to a week and close if profittable
>close completely after 7 days left if i'm desperate/stupid enough
i don't look at the greeks because that gets too technical for a simple buy and sell strategy. i'd say its about a 50% win/loss rate for me. when i'm right, i either didn't make the trade or made a small profit. when i'm wrong i've thrown more money into it than i should have or i lose my previous gains.
