/biz/ - Business & Finance

Okay. As most of /biz/ knows by now me and Uncle Chang were at Consensus (and other IRL ARK stuff but most of you will only care about Consensus), so we got to step outside the /biz/ LARPing circle these last few weeks and see what actually goes on in the cryptosphere instead of just what larpers on biz think goes on.

So, Q&A thread.

First off, some things:
- This isn't exclusively an ARK thread.
- I didn't visit any of the presentations, they weren't interesting and they were streamed and recorded anyway.
- I spoke to a ton of lawyers, bankers, as well as C-level execs and people who were directly involved with various projects (ICON, Decred, obviously ARK, PIVX, some upcoming projects and a few others)
- Exchanges are scummy as fuck holy shit.
- I am almost absolutely certain we are going to see another market wide bull run by the end of this year based on what I saw in person.
- Expected attendance was 4,000. 9,000 showed up.
- Boomers. Boomers everywhere.
- /biz/ is literally all LARPs. Nothing that goes on here affects anything actually going on in crypto. We didn't meet a single /biz/raeli, except for *maybe* a voter of ours that now works for ICON since he knew about my discord and was in it (though he could have come in from Reddit or something, didn't ask).
- The people in suits were all boomers or scammers. Actual crypto influencers wore normal clothing.
- Apparently there was a burlesque midget shitting after party hosted by one of the coins? These guys party like fucking mad, but I can't say I'm terribly surprised. I didn't visit any after parties myself, had no time.

Alright, fire away. Will only be answering serious legitimate questions. If you're going to ask if x or y was there, I'm not answering because you can fucking read the consensus schedule to know that.
