you do realize that ethereum is unlimited supply as well? also, do you really think miners will just mine out of their good will once block rewards for bitcoin come down to 0? who am i kidding - bitcoin will be long gone before its block rewards become 0. either that or it will either go proof of stake (unlimited supply) or it will adapt similar mechanism to tail emissions.
