Pro-Bitcoin here.
You seem to miss the idea of bitcoin. It's not about 'sending money instantly' anyway. It's definitely a gain over fiat, but not a game-changer. As I feel you are set in your ways, I will not try to change your mind, though I do have a question. What exactly about Bitcoin is a bad investment? I'm looking for solid proof here, though, not just the usual sputter:
>hurr it's is not backed by anything
wrong. it is backed by over five years of progressing computations and a chain of transactions that cannot be unwritten.
>It's virtual so it can disappear
wrong. Every transaction is included in the blockchain and dispersed amongst every node, providing full transparency of the network
>hurr a solar flare could wipe out the internet
We have bigger problems than currency at that point
>people only buy bitcoin for a profit.
not everyone plans to sell bitcoin for USD.

So what exactly is 'stupid' about having a fully transparent, anti-fragile system for tracking transactions worldwide by using excess computing power?

Please, enlighten me you ignorant faggots. Nothing is stupid about Bitcoin. You'll still feel the same in five years, too. You had the chance, you still have the chance, and you always will have the chance to switch to BTC. It's just the amount you'll be able to afford down the road that'll piss you off so much more.

>yfw you'll always be bitter about BTC because you've spent years chasing money that is (also) backed by nothing, stolen from you by your own government, spent for you,
then reprinted so what you made previously is worth less in their eyes.
>yfw you're paying thieves to steal from you and devalue your earning simeltaneously
