I'm 21 and I feel the same way, anon. It's impossible to know for sure how things will change. All I can do is try my best to hedge my position so that I can adapt to whatever bizarre nightmare the world becomes, and try to find peace with the reality of this. I think this is probably something people in the past have felt, particularly after the industrial revolution. Having the world change in such drastic and incomprehensible ways during your lifetime isn't something we intuitively know how to cope with, I think.
