Would say "a lot of circumstantial evidence" ... the HIV homology sequences in the hypervariable loops of the spike protein look fishy already, there's a report from 2015 where US virologists heavily criticizes the Wuhan Institute of Virology for creating a chimeric Coronavirus able to grow in (human) HeLa cell culture, the chinks already preparing a narrative of an "US bioweapon" to shift blame once too much evidence for non-natural origin exists ... I doubt it is a bio"weapon" btw, more likely just a research strain.

G6PD deficiency is an old genetic "disease" which provided some protection against malaria (similar to sickle cell anemia) ... therefore very common in areas where malaria once was (or still is) endemic, Mediterranean, Middle East, Asia, Africa ... you name it! It is also known to sometimes lead to very grave complications during infections. Could explain the high mortality rate in Italy for example.
