Reading this post on plebbit I keep thinking back to the rick rule interview where he wasn't talking about any of this.
He wasn't talking at all about how the comex deliveries were up 400% in january.
How if they go up 400% in may that will totally wipe out the comex.

Does anyone else see cryptos as their only escape from the trap that is rent and mortgage payments?

I did some calculations and if I invested all the money I paid for rent since I was 22 (I'm 28), my portfolio would be worth something like $120K at age 30. If from 30 onward I let that money sit in my portfolio it would be worth more than $800K at age 60.

Making a lot of money early on in your career seems like the only way to get out of this. Unfortunately, being the brainlet that I am, I decided to get my PhD. Now, at age 28 and 1 year from finishing my PhD, my net worth is barely over 50K. My girlfriend is also getting her PhD and has an even lower net worth than me. Seems like we are going to be forking money over to landlords and banks for the rest of our lives.
