Good shit man, feeling like you're the future me lol. Same age and similar stats except I don’t have a mortgage yet and would like to move to Vietnam with my wife before we start a family.


What are your cashout plans, hoping my portfolio can do a 2.5 - 3X if possible before cashing some out. Do you think 2-3M before taxes would be enough to live abroad for awhile?


I make a decent amount at my job in the U.S but obviously would like to quit one day, just not sure on how and when to do so, since expenses will grow once kids come into the picture.


Biggest concern is how to generate cash flow, could invest into traditional vehicles like Index funds but at 8% return, that would take about 9 years for that amount to just do a 2X. There’s rental properties too, where you can leverage by needing to only put 20% down. But it seems like another job and if living abroad then property managers would just eat up all profits.
