As a middle class man on my mid 20s, I make 75k CAD per year, and my net worth is over $160k CAD.

I continue to minimize my expenses by revisiting internet, phone bill, and auto/home insurance plans for discounts and sales. I also avoid unnecessary purchases like take out, and spotify subscriptions, which can accumulate easily. I only buy used furniture, with the exception of mattresses.

I look for opportunities to make a little extra cash on facebook marketplace, or with web dev.

I splurge on healthy groceries, and high quality clothing for my minimalistic wardrobe.

I invest only in ETFs (VFV, HXS, HXDM, VCN, VTI), and dollar cost average when I find myself with a lump sum of cash great than 8k CAD.

I am a middle class man and will remain a middle class man when I retire as a millionaire in my 50s.

low iq, tether owns treasuries directly bypassing the banking system.

Which means they are not forced to hold cash in banks which are forced to buy 30 year bonds giving 0.003% interest when infaltion is 6%.

Tether disconnection from the banking system is why it did not depegged during the sillicon valley crisis, while usdc depegged.

Also it does not help that usdc shills itself as a kosher coin and tries to sell itself to first world exchanges while most payments happen on global third world exchanges were tether dominates.

The SVB crisis and the fact that circle was not even sure if they had the cash made them look like clowns.

Just read this shit

https://www.circle.com/blog/an-update-on-usdc-and-silicon-valley-bank

even tether has behaved more professionally than this fuck DAI itself did.

USDC has a good future but it will take time to regain trust in them, it also does not help that alternatives like paxos binance usd were politically persecuted it makes them look like a bad actor pissing the global exchanges that move the most money.
