some of my relatives want me to invest their money because I've done really well the past 4 years

I think the best way to do this is to create an LLC and have them buy shares, but I don't really know much about creating companies.

How do I distribute the equity? My relatives want to split the profits 50/50 with me.

Let's say I've got two people who initially put in 100k each. How does the equity split work? Don't I need to own most of the equity to maintain control?

But that doesn't make sense cuz I want them to own stakes worth 100k each initially
