Moral of the story is get married but don't fuck up. Don't believe people who say the divorce rate is 50%, that's a bullshit aggregate number that includes people who were married for one day and people who have divorced multiple times. There are a lot of benefits to getting married, including economic ones, and there is a lot that you can do to make your marriage a successful one. The main thing is you have to actually talk to your woman. (A strange concept, for sure.) Figure out the main stuff first: Does she want kids? Does she expect this to be an open relationship? Does she ever want to move out of the state? You'd be surprised how many people out there are marrying, fucking, and raising kids alongside absolute strangers.
