This Appia bad boy can work even in areas where there is no internet. 2G technology embedded into it. As long as a cellphone can work, so can this payment module. And payments are just the start of what is capable with Nano.

>1 second tx times
>free
>decentralized, anyone can host a node
>costs about 5$ a month for a working node, network is already supported by thes
>7000 TPS demonstrated on testnet with higher quality nodes, still not that expensive, perhaps $200 a year in costs.
>permissionless
>devs currently working on a crypto agnostic point of sale service that fits the same permissionless and open source model

Even if I wasn't an investor, I would totally take advantage of Appia, which happens to be platform agnostic too. Meaning ETH, BTC, LINK, NANO, etc will all be easily accepted by whoever utilizes the Appia service. Free for online vendors too as they won't need to buy the €50 terminal.

Crypto adoption is coming, the very reason why companies like Steam stopped taking BTC was due to the fees and delay. Vendors and customers using this device will naturally gravitate towards the cheaper and better options. This is why LTC has such great gains, and why Nano to will have the torch passed its way.

Time is ticking.

UK Nano meetup on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Colin the lead dev will be there and is unveiling info about the Point of Sale device known as Appia. There are two other announcements I am not privy too as well. I recently bought back in after trying my luck with CZ's shitcoin casino. I lost a decent amount of my capital. Not as comfy as I was, but I still hold a very sizable amount of Nano.

If the system is still subject to attack after V19 release (92% done), I am sure that will be next on the devs list. I am not a dev so I do not know the inner workings, but the current version changes are being designed around this very such issue. I have total faith in the team, they have not steered me wrong and continue to develop the project and are currently networking to make the needed relationships happen. Pic related.

If you are not getting into NANO soon you are going to be missing out.

Appia is a payment terminal that is working with Nano to improve fiat to crypto transfers. They are likely going to market their services to vendors both online and offline, and using the DAG technology of NANO (sub 1 second transfers, zero fee), eliminate the barriers that prevent vendors of certain goods and providers of certain services (think cannabis, kratom, nootropics, firearms, or any other business that does not easily get payment processing), while reducing the average credit card transaction cost from 3% to as low as nothing (although they will likely charge a fee, maybe 1% or less).

This is huge for businesses who want to reduce fees paid to banks and for those who are unbanked that want to join the commerce market. The only thing that can compare to this is cash. However you cannot send cash around the planet within a seconds time. Nano is already being adopted and put into various engines (see NANO quake, NANO tipbot), and is the ideal coin for automatic microtransactions (looking at you IOTA) that can be plugged and played anywhere.

V19 is right around the corner and currently in beta testing mode, where they are changing the model from UDP to TCP, making NANO more attractive to exchanges that are hesitant to allow UDP access.

V20 is the final version of Nano, and will be available within the next coming months. Once this is completed, the Nano foundation intends to start marketing, and the bull begins. You have some time before this, however smart money will buy in now, as NANO is without a doubt at its bottom with adamantium tier support. Simply look at the chart. We are still 95% down from all time high and the total market cap is only around 200 million, less than 1/6th of IOTA, another DAG based cryptocurrency with promise, however NANO already has a working product that is decentralized and open source.
