Other traders on wall street were always a few steps ahead of me. When HFTs leased office park space so close to the NYSE that they could shave off a fraction of a penny from every trade and make a billion dollars a day, I was the one quoted in the Economist article saying those guys were “too busy making money to explain what they were doing”. In 2007, when I joined Michael Blurry’s other investors in circumventing the fund’s fees by pulling out money and identical bets ourselves, I didn’t have Michael’s patience and so I went long again before the crash.

But I ended up doing fine, buying a mid century in the Hollywood hills and today I’m meeting an old friend at . If you remember what Jude Law looked like in The Talented Mr. Ripley then you pretty much know my friend Daniel. While the coterie of stiff-looking MUAs and models at the table next to us, recently finished with a shoot, try to fit in by ordering things that aren’t on the menu, Daniel and I do what this palm-lined courtyard was meant for: we melt. We melt into our Cuban wicker chairs, we melt our ice into our tonic & Carpano Antica, and we melt into the story of how Wergild has changed the way he looks at trading.

I think I was too busy chasing “the thing”, he said, as if there were events outside of me that I needed to understand and position myself to profit from. I kept getting this feeling that the things that had moved the markets were inevitable, that they should have been obvious to me beforehand, and then I met Samund. He just basically convinced me of the simple fact that I would be more successful listening to myself than trying to understand the complexity of the world around me. There’s rhythm to the world, a pulse, and if you can get your mind quiet enough then you can begin to hear it, tap your foot, see the matrix, and know what’s coming next.

WRGLD is not automatically distributed. Then again, neither are most ICOs or pre-mined POW coins.

It doesn't seem like programmable emissions are that important.
