Other traders on wall street were always a few steps ahead of me. When HFTs leased office park space so close to the NYSE that they could shave off a fraction of a penny from every trade and make a billion dollars a day, I was the one quoted in the Economist article saying those guys were “too busy making money to explain what they were doing”.
