I kinda regret going into welding because of this. I have always been more of the intellectual kind of person and I know I am never going to fit in with the people I am going to work with (currently looking for a job) or have any meaningful conversation for that matter. I could have spent the same time I was training myself for this job into something more information-related.

It isn't that I dislike working with my hands, as a matter of fact I love it, but I just find it insulting that some guy that bothered learning how to sell can set up a cheap ass Shopify store and get in a month what it would take me more than half a year of hard work, sweat and rising early in the mornings to earn. That's what I eventually want to be able to do, the job is just a gateway to save up enough money to invest in that.
