Got banned for giving actual advice to an OP on r/personalfinance like don't finance a new car, don't get credit cards for emergencies, save up an emergency fund, etc. The guy was asking for advice and I was just giving him the best advice out there. But I got banned because so many butthurt normies with credit card debt and $450 car payments downvoted and reported me for saying it's stupid to do those things.

Why don't people do this? I'm 22 and want to find people who enjoy fishing and /out/ to rent a house together. I don't want to rent a room from complete strangers. I only made $2,500 a month and don't want to be home poor spending half of my income on housing.
