As a rule of thumb: If a coin is under a year old and there's hype, it's a Pump and Dump.

If a coin is under three years old it can still be Pumped and Dumped by whales so be wary of hype!

If a coin is more than 4 years old and has a market cap of at least a million it's less likely but still be cautious.

Same is true of stocks and bonds. Be careful and never drink the kool aid.
