Different people have different priorities. In the tradeoff between size, price, job opportunities, and commute time, there are people at all extremes, and this is good. They're not bidding up the price of your house or becoming your dirtbag leftist neighbors, so you win too in a sense.

That said, commiefornia just needs to stop regulating the shit out of everything. I bet they're looking to regulate this useful voluntary penal colony out of existence too.
