You didn't watch the video? Ok. The simple reason for the dampening effect of a 24 hour rebase period - is that you don't want a currency with an elastic supply to OVER RESPOND to the market - you want the rebases that follow the general market TREND.

All these forks with quick rebases are LOW effort attempts to take your money and capitalize on the truly revolutionary idea of an elastic supply in a base money. You are much better off with the chad Google engineers that put AMPL together, because they actually put some fucking thought into it.
