Credit card balances have also increased dramatically.
I’m curious what % of that is on 0% interest credit cards though. Right now you can get 0% intro APR for 12-15 months and then get 0% APR with a balance transfer for 12-15 months to a different card again and again. It’s possible to defer expenses for a couple years with the current credit climate.
Smarter to take the cash you would spend paying credit card debt and grow it via stocks or bonds or some shit then pay it when deferral capabilities cap out.
