Its funny how real gold fever is especially when the price gets high. I deeply regret not picking up a cheap claim on the American river in California back in 2001 when gold was only worth around $375 an ounce.

Part of me just wants to look for gold just because it sounds interesting, but I have very little money and a beater low clearance car. I do have a gold pan and a metal detector though. I feel like gold miners are skeptical and superstitious and would be hard to convince letting me join them.
