Wat do?
>currently work minimum wage at security guard job in Canada
>also running a small fencing club
>said club can't support itself yet, and probably won't for years
>security job is secure, I'd have to fuck up majorly to get fired
>also lets me study fencing stuff and write correspondence about my club
>have energy left at the end of the day, don't feel like shit in general
>dat lack of money doe, no safety net, no savings, acquiring gear for fencing at a glacial pace
>can't afford a car, since cars are constantly breaking, expensive boxes of shit
>have a few choices
>could ask boss for a raise (he'll laugh at me)
>could look into better paying security jobs in town (this will probably involve giving up the benefits of my comfy, quiet post)
>could try making money online to suppliment my income while at work
>second job is out of the question, unless I start shovelling snow in the winter, or some other side hustle I can do on my own time
(And really, the fencing club IS a side hustle. But it won't be profitable for a long time.)

So what would you do? My goal in life is to teach my club professionally. Full time. This is something very few people ever get to do with any success. So it's a pipe dream. But it's somewhat realistic.
