My sister used to smother me with a pillow when I was a baby. She would do it until I was gasping for breath.

My mother birthed me when she was 37 years old.

That's probably why I'm slow OP. WBU?

I've noticed nobody builds homes for single men, or couples that only want 1 child. Everything is either an overpriced 600 sqft tiny home shitbox, or it's a fucking 3-4 bedroom, 2-4 bathroom, 1,600 - 2,200 sqft home, which is way too big and still overpriced.

I just want a 1,000 sqft home. I've literally never seen one. At least not where I live.

Yes, but the ratio people use is when silver was legal tender in the 1800's.

In the 1800's silver was much harder too mine, it required a shit-ton of manpower, there wasn't much of a global supply chain and the logistics would've been a pain in the ass shipping it around.

Today silver is used as an industrial metal, it's not being used as legal tender. The economy is globalized, the logistics are much smoother and almost everything is done by machines now.

I'm a pro-gold/silver guy, but the retardation (to duh moon!), faggotry (scammers) and schizoposting (doomers) have turned it into a cult of blithering idiots, throwing their life-savings away just to hoard a pile of metals and LARP as scrooge McDuck before the apocalypse.

Because corporatists have brainwashed people into being completely materialistic about everything.

Everyone wants their own mini-mansion, their own sports/luxury car, their own appliances, their own pets, their own electronics, etc. It's the same reason why people are obsessed over shit like Gucci, Louis Vuitton and David Yurman. It's just a brand name, there's nothing special about the tangible product themselves, but it's a symbol of "high status" so people pay stupid amounts of money for the products. There's nothing wrong with wanting to dress nice, wear jewelry, drive luxury cars, etc. But, it should be because you personally get enjoyment out of the products, not because you want attention to fulfill your ego.

Corporations have pushed the "loser in your mom's basement" since at least the early 1900's. There's actually nothing wrong with living with your parents if you're a contributing member to your household and it's not toxic/abusive.

My mother (66 years old) moved in with me (29 years old) in a 2-bedroom apartment after her apartment flooded. She cooks, cleans, does the laundry, buys the groceries and pays 30% of the rent. I pay for 70% of the rent, the electric bill, the cable bill and the home insurance. This has allowed both of us to save up more money, which allows me to invest more in the market and take vacations and now she can take an extra day off of work, which helps her feel better and not be in as much physical pain as she usually is.

Personally, I think families (and even close friends) should stick together more, but too many people have been brainwashed into thinking they need the "best of the best" or they'll be viewed as a loser by the rest of society. Fuck what society thinks and be your own man.
