that FUDer is incorrect only in the sense that users don't have to actually do full KYC. You can go to some ICP Dapps and use them like a regular website. However, *nodes* on ICP are 100% permissioned and KYC'd and it will always be that way, it's a central part of how the protocol works. You cannot run a node yourself to participate in the network, only the special few chosen by Dfinity. Which is funny because that's actually worse, not only is it essentially not even crypto in the colloquial sense, it's laggier and vastly more throughput limited the existing CSP solutions AND muh AtoB chains. It truly does FUD itself the more you actually read into the details past clicking on pirated nintendo games and shitty web2.0 social media clones.
