just in the last 5 days i've lost out on doubling my money by various ways

1) shorting when I should be longing
2) longing when I should be shorting
3) not staying in my position

just last night i shorted just as eth climbed from 255 to 270. my short was underwater and i sold now with a small loss, even though it probably will fall farther so as to make it break even or better.

i'm always like this. weak hands and emotional. can it be fixed? it's not even a lot of money and i'm still like this.
