>I fucking auctioned it on eBay
there's your problem. Nobody uses eBay anymore. You'd be much better off listing your art on Etsy at inflated prices, and waiting for some rich white girl to click "buy" without ever looking at the price

>a beautiful and very rare statue
was it a remington?

if we're talking poverty food, rice and lentils is the absolute cheapest way to go

half a pound of lentils: ~$0.50, 650 calories, 54 grams of protein

a pound of rice: ~$0.50, 1,650 calories

for $1 per day you can eat 2,300 calories including 54 grams of protein; throw in a multivitamin and treat yourself to orange juice once per month and you can literally live off of that forever, all for less than $50 per month

I once handed my friend's resume to an HR lady at Goldman Sachs, hoping to get her a good job, and as soon as the HR lady saw Texas A&M on the resume she threw at away

wrong; what you're thinking of / talking about are debt *settlement* companies, not debt consolidation.

debt consolidation is different; it's when you get one low-interest loan and use it to pay off all of your high-interest loans. That way you have one, smaller payment to worry about instead of multiple payments that are collectively larger.

>insofar as it it is fading it's because the objectivist institute is a bunch of nerds who lack the charisma that Rand had
don't forget that Ayn Rand's hand-picked successor Leonard Peikoff ruined the credibility of the Ayn Rand Institute with hot takes such as "muslims shouldn't be allowed to live in New York City" or "re-electing Obama in 2012 was worse than the American Civil War"

>The beings you call humans (people) don't think, they never have. They just react as a collective hive mind against men that think with aggression and projection.
again this is Holden Caulfield type thinking that appeals to young people who think they're hot shit and everyone else is a normie/NPC/phony/parasite but when you're older you don't feel so special

>Does a poor, starving orphan's need somewhere in the world has more right than my own kin?
no but it's not an either-or and you know that. In any and every society a child is born, maybe the parents abandon it, maybe the parents are killed, but in any case a child with no parents comes to exist; that child is physically and intellectually incapable of working to pay for their food and shelter (much less their education) and hence some kind of intervention is required to provide that child with food and shelter and an education. I believe that all children have a positive right to food and shelter and an education and I believe that most humans feel the same way. Even animals can be observed adopting orphans and raising them at the adult animal's expense.

Perhaps adults don't have a positive right to universal basic income, free healthcare, etc., but children have a positive right to food and shelter and education, and to the extent that anyone has positive rights then Ayn Rand's worldview is wrong.

he'll be in jail within three years, feel free to screencap this. He's going to get charged with running a ponzi scheme (in legalize they'll probably just call it wire fraud). It's an easy case to prove: he was promising a 20% return on Terra deposits and then using the money to pay back previous investors and to prop up the price of Luna. He had no legitimate way of generating the 20% return he promised besides enticing new investors, ergo it's a ponzi scheme.

Just look at the Bitconnect fiasco to get an idea of how the Luna situation will play out. The US Department of Justice was still filing new charges and making new arrests three years after Bitconnect collapsed. It's a slow process. But I guarantee that the process will end with Do Kwon in an American jail cell.
