>next GameStop revenue/earnings whatever report
>unexpectedly high due to all the attention/fanaticism towards gamestop
>shares rise super high
>this panics the long shorters who panic sell
>shares rise even higher still
>actual short squeeze triggered

What are the chances of this hypothetical scenario happening

Any particular techniques people use for making their own price targets / anticipated return for a stock? I know people here mostly trade on TA and memes but asking for the folks who buy boomer stocks.

I'm trying to value KL and based on my estimates, they'll make roughly $11B in the next 10 years if gold price holds at 1800 (very simplistic analysis, ignore the method for a moment), which would give a 8% annual return on the current share price, is this the right way to approach this?

Ignoring for a minute the lingering distrust in your relationship, are you sure the approach you described will protect you, anon? Considering in particular that you've invested in dividend stocks, wouldn't she find out from your tax forms at the bare minimum? Also, do you somehow cover up transfers from your main bank account, or did you already have a bunch in your investment account before the relationship and are just HODLing to retirement? Seems like overall, your "divorce emergency" assets, if that's the vibe you're going for, are actually very traceable (admittedly, I don't know if that alone is enough to make them legal fair game for seizure so maybe that's not an issue, just pointing it out).

Thinking about putting in some lotto ticket limit buys like $30 AMD in case there's a crash and people are market selling (not puts, I'd be specifically betting on getting something below market price on liquidity running dry). Anyone ever pulled off something like this before? How much of a JUSTing is reasonable to expect during panic selling?

So what's the play after precious metals, bros? I managed to accumulate SLV and RGLD before the insane gap ups started, but now I feel that small miners in particular will be out of reach soon in terms of remaining upside potential vs risk of huge dumps. RGLD is the one I'll keep buying since they have solid long-term fundamentals and aren't levered to gold/silver like miners (WPM and FNV also are like this, I just chose RGLD).

I was looking at other commodities, but they have their own cycles that may overshadow the +/- from inflation (though I did get some oil stocks). Tech stocks are overvalued, I'm not an expert in biomemes so I probably can't pick the good ones, boring industrials even at these P/E will probably dump more if the broader economy slows down, semis are probably solid but I already own a bunch... Anything else? Maybe it's unusual to get a play as obvious as PM's during moneyprinting but I'm out of clear sector ideas.

Key question anon - how would you ensure the financial value of the fund tracks suicide rate? If people are investing real money, you can't just pull a number out of your ass and call it the fund's price. What asset class gets a bump when someone suicides? I can't think of any.
