I haven't gotten an answer for this anywhere. How are PM's a hedge against inflation when their supply is more inflationary than most shitcoins?

thing is a giant meme, we will never run out in our lifetimes. Supply will just keep going up and up, suppressing the price indefinitely. Gold and silver are more inflationary that any currency and most shitcoins. The only hope is the price of oil also going parabolic, which isn't happening, because supply of oil is also going up at historic paces with seemingly no end in sight.

Scarcity mindset is a meme, and the environmentalists were wrong, we are no where remotely close to any sort of resource shortage. its all a meme

Why would prices ever go up and production just continues to also moon? Is demand for silver & gold also skyrocketing?
