Except it’s not just over-leveraged businesses that can’t survive months of mandatory closures. What the fuck? Damn near every small business would implode regardless of whether or not they were smart with savings and debt. The only businesses to survive would be the megacaps.

How much suffering to justify your libertarian ideals? We don’t have a completely free market and we never did, nor should we. There need to be regulations or you’re going to have people being traded like cattle and harvested for organs, and whatever sick shit I can’t even think of.

I did not like the easing we had done on the way into this. I do not like the way we’ve been cutting taxes and increasing spending. But this is an actual fucking once in a century crisis. It’s time to sort out your ideals from your principles. Maximizing human suffering to try for some ideal is not worth it to me as a matter of principle.
