A price supression algorithm works against buy pressure over time. Given enough time the buy pressure and price suppression meet up and eventually there's a breakout. The wedge created between suppression and buy pressure makes the algorithm repeat the same moves at smaller and smaller scales until the stock eventually appears flat, followed by a massive breakout (MOASS)
