I use a robo advisor to save money towards a large purchase that is roughly 4 years away.

My question: is it better to deposit money weekly on Monday, or monthly in one large equivalent amount?

It seems like projections are better for weekly depositing, but I can't reason about why that would be so. Any ideas?
