I personally concentrate on buying and selling online. It costs about 0.5% premium for shipping, but it's just so easy, pick the cheapest 1oz coin from the list of 300 coin shops with shipping and order it. That means my coins are all over the place, i have every major investment coin, but i'm not buying them for the pictures pressed into them, just the gold.
I just try to limit myself to 999.9 gold (bought one Kruger to have a coin to fondle).
To me the 0.5% extra is worth it. Never had a problem with shipping either.
As for Bitcoin, i personally would make sure to convert some into cash so you have poweder to shoot when the prices fall. Recently we had a nice 2 week dip many of us used for shopping, right now we are almost at all time high so most of us wait.

I don't think i will. ;-)

>silber
We call it silver, mein Freund.

>>Can you pay a tank of gas with silver coins?
>Yes. It is legal tender.
Actually use it to pay for gas then, see what happens, smartypants.

That is a theory, not a fact.

I think some of us hold Palladium or Platinum coins, but it seems to have a higher risk than gold to me.

In Germany and most of Europe, transactions above 2000€ need to be reported by the shop owner to someone. It depends on country to country.
The amount of money get's smaller and smaller and is a mayor tool to fight money laundering and terrorism, according the the gubbermint.
In the US reporting starts at $10k i think.

>silver used to be what, 16 to 1?
>and now it's almost 100 to 1?
That ratio was set as arbitrarily as the one we have today.

Well deserved new OP pic. The plate is interesting too.

I can tell you are a quick coomer by how early you bake. Is it too much to ask to at least wait for the bumpun limit?

That's fine, no laws exist against being a homo like you.

I prefer security features, they will help me sell the coins once i need fiat.
I also keep the receipt/shipping cost around, so that i know exactly what was paid and i note the spot price of the day of purchase so i can retrace the premiums.
Usually i pay 1.5 to 2% premium over spot. I fail to see why i should pay more for coins that may or may not fake.

I remember that incident. You said "There was no holocaust and Hitler did nothing wrong."
What a mystery that warning was.

1/2 oz of gold, Maple Leaf or Britannia, something with solid security features.
Also, 1/2 oz is very small, don't be disappointed.

>>55768930
Where?

>>55769987
Lacks gold, innit? I hear silver lost 20% of it's value recently.
I have 2 1oz gold coins, which i guess are worth more than that.
Unless that stuff has collectors value, then it might be worth more.
