Yeah, that's probably why he's sold out. I too find it cheap by US standards, but he most certainly have a contact/friend in Europe who is in contact with detectorists circles and ship all those coins to the US.
I fear the day old stuffmaxxing become trendy in the US, in lieu of worthless substitutes like pokemon or baseball cards, because with your infinite toilet paper printer and insanely inflated wages, you will vacuum all our artifacts in no time. 5€ is a pretty big deal to a portuguese or a balkanpoor. But $5 in the US, you don't even bother bending the knee to fetch it up from the ground. I fear the burger looting.

It's ok fren, i appreciate you gave it a try. Nothing on my end either sadly.
>if a cheapie you should get it and continue researching at your leisure
As i really wasn't too sure (and on a limited budget), i max bid only 50 bux to be sure i wouldn't regret being wrong, and it ended up selling for 56€. The buyer will be very happy i believe, since it's weighting 193g!

>nothing amazing but easily worth $10-20 each retail
Once again i didn't want to go too high as a total newb on roman coinage, so i max bid 40, and it sold for 41€ kek. Less regrets than for the mystery ladle, lots of roman coins are a very common occurence over here, so i'll eventually score something nice i'll be proud to show you!

>nobody is going to be interested
They don't care if you are interested or not. If they require your taxes to be paid in neo-fedbux, you will have to get your hands on neo-fedbux, period.
But of course it will be limited to national boundaries, for external trades, another currency will be required.
I believe we will see 2 currencies : one for international trades, not accessible to the public and giving some guarantees to commercial partners (could be a basket of commodities), and one for the US residents, complete garbage inflationary at will (((they))) have total control over.
Then an exchange system with floating rates will allow you to exchange your within-fedbux into outside-fedbux if you need some (with heavy restrictions and/or taxation of course). Of course your always depreciating within-fedbux will be worth always less outside-fedbux as time goes on. Just like your USD is worth always less gold over time.
