Communism is democracy in its purest form.
The reason why lenin resorted to authoritarian communism was because Russia was agrarian and needed to develop quickly.
And deveop quickly they did.
Its like this.
Each factory and farm elects a representative and the representatives gather in congress to discuss how to plan production.
People are paid in hours so that all work is remunerated the same.
Something along those lines you know.
Look up council communism.
