https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMAbiB0RrnA what do you luminaries think of my kantanka spec ad

annoyingly their video didnt have any vrooms so i should add those i but i cba. you get the idea.

this pickup costs $14k new, its made in ghana with chinese parts & cheap ghanaian labor. seems pretty ideal as a cheap work truck if only it were imported to the us - and because its made in Africa i think liberal political pressure could grease the wheels on that process.

i think there is an untapped market for very cheap, analog cars in the US, but its not something that most automakers care to provide as the margins are so low

there are some cars like this in the chinese market but they arent really imported

im actually watching Kantanka closely, its a Ghanaian company that assembles basic trucks & sedans from Chinese parts with cheap Ghanaian labor. They sell sedans for whats $6k in american and trucks for $14k.

getting them certified for import is a barrier but i think there could be political pressure to do so as its a Black Owned Business obviously which appeals to liberals, and the founder is also a megachurch pastor so conservatives should like it

picrel is Kantanka Omama. i could definitely see a market for basic cheap pickups like this in agriculture etc especially at $14k or even $20k if thats what it ends up being after import
