First of all - if you're new, pic related. 95% of people only tell you about their coins because they hold some and they want the price to go up to sell on you. I would recommend buying ETH or LINK when there is a big dip. But I would probably slowly start building an ETH stack. There is a real chance ETH could go crazy and double its price when ETH 2.0 / Staking is released.

Just download MetaMask, which is the most commonly used Ethereum wallet. I think it can be used on mobile but it is a browser extension.

Next you will need to buy ETH from somewhere like Coinbase/Binance (you will need to send them pictures of your ID. This is to stop money laundering / silk road drug dealers from cashing out anonymously ect.)

Once you have gotten the hang of things, you are best off doing your own research. DONT buy whatever /biz/ says because 95% of the time they are wanting you to buy the coins that they are selling or they want the price to go up so they can sell on you, making your coins worthless.
