that's a good question, i'm not sure. i've theorized for a while now that since about 1950 there has been a sort of conspiracy/new age mythos that's been constructed (think Bilderberger/Mark of the Beast/project bluebeam/mkultra) and it seems like on some level, very powerful people (think Bill Gates and the people who direct music videos/superbowl halftime shows etc) are playing into this by doing stuff that is almost too obviously conspiracy-oriented. i think Q is part of this- i've seen it pointed out that Q is the first pro-government conspiracy theory, so it was probably made by government/intelligence agencies- something like flat earth, only instead of creating it to muddy the water and distract, it was created to get people to support Trump.

perhaps this XRP conspiracy stuff, with fairly high-production videos like the Riddler ones and whatnot (that seem to have legitimate connections with real-world happenings- remember when Brad Garlinghouse had a picture from one of the videos in his office? And Mellon correctly predicted the date XRP started to blow up?)

maybe it's to get the schizos on the side of the surveillance state. or maybe it's a kind of intelligence filter- they intend to transfer wealth to a certain class of paranoid, disaffected schizo. maybe that's what /xsg/ is all about.
