You have no imagination and paltry grasp of the complex current situation. You're ignoring the simple, irrefutable fact that the lawyers billing all over the place would all be committing fraud under the close scrutiny and approval of a judge just because you cherry pick a few sentences from old documents when something called MISDIRECTION exists.

How much debt remains? Subtract that from 12,000,000,000 and the result is what MAY be paid out to shareholders. I don't assume anything, the emerging entity may choose to pay out NONE of its credits and keep it ALL in the corporate bank account, but it's a fact making no assumptions that it MAY be paid out to former shareholders since there is LESS than $12B in outstanding bonds and the estate has at least that much credit.
Similarly, the new equity issuance MAY go to non-shareholders, but the fact is that new equity WILL be issued or lawyers overtly broke the law to the tune of millions of dollars under extensive scrutiny.

While nothing is promised, plenty is possible. That is why it isn't delusional to continue 'believing in it.'
