We should put up a poll and decide what to call the financial crisis of 2023.

Dot Com Bubble 2.0? GFC electric boogaloo? Panic of 23?

>massive layoffs of overpaid 200k a year 23 year old "consultants" (sluts)
>tech workers being told they aren't being fired, but have to renegotiate their contracts for less responsibility and pay (dropping from 190k to 129k a year, or something like that)
>meanwhile you can make 17/hr working as a lifeguard, or 15/hr as a delivery guy with free company healthcare
>huge numbers of H1Bs being deported
So what's the endgame here? I can't help but feel if money is being poured into crappy jobs like wagie and car wagie while top-tier tech do nothing jobs are suddenly being culled en mass, this should have a positive effect on rents and costs no? If the number of 200k a year do nothings is reduced to 0 and are forced to take a 9/hr job, which gets bumped to 15/hr, then all the poorfags have their boat floated upwards, while tech douchebags have to justify their existence and salary.

This can only be a net positive for deflation of basic goods, right?
